Damian Ives is a FA Level 3 (Uefa B Licence) coach who has been coaching football for over 25 years.
Damian has worked with a wide variety of children, youth players and adults both in the U.K. and overseas and cites FUN, ENJOYMENT & HARD WORK as key ingredients to player development.
During his time in football Damian has worked with Pre School children, in a large number of schools within the Yorkshire region and coached for a total of over 18 months during 4 visits to the United States of America.
Damian has worked for over 12 years as a Football Development Officer within Kirklees organising and developing weekly junior sessions for beginners to advanced children and school holiday football camps.
Damian has also worked with a number of elite male and female footballers. He has coached within the FA’s Female Centre of Excellence programme and England Womens Talent Camp and has over 16 years experience working within a premier league academy coaching U7-U8 players.

Damian did a session with the children at Kirkroyds Preschool this week. He was absolutely brilliant and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.The children listened well and he was able to hold their attention despite there being a mixed age group of 2 to 4 years.
